Spring Update

I'm sorry it's been such a long time since my last update! As I got used to life here I sort of forgot what is considered new and exciting to everyone else. It all seems so normal and ordinary now, for better and worse. I guess you can say I've gotten used to the japanese lifestyle. And oh my do I love it? TO BITS.

Sure, I do miss Sweden all the time. However, that's because Sweden will always have a huge part of my heart, just like Japan do now as well. I think I will forever be torn between both places...

I am surprised how easy it was to adapt to life here. This is the first time I've ever lived on my own after all, but I think it's amazing that I can actually feel myself growing as a person. It's like I've got no boundaries over here. Not even the sky it my limit. That was lame, sorry.

But no, I am so grateful that I am able to do this journey. I am thankful for all the fun times I've had so far, the luck I've had to meet so many fantastic human beings, and I look forward to see what Japan will bring next.

Oh, you're wondering what school is like? It's great. Although "school" is never really great - I believe you can't possibly get more motivated to learn something than when you're actually experiencing your subject of study everyday. Quite obvious, huh. The teachers make it all easier too, seeing as they are probably some of the funniest, sweetest and passionate teachers I've ever had. Does this sound like some Japan propaganda? Trust me, this place is as good as I say, if not better.

There is SO much to do and see. Last weekend we took my friend out to a Vampire Café in Ginza, because yes, if you search for a certain themed Café/Restaurant in Tokyo - one most likely exists. I'm not even lying. When we looked at the pamplet for the Vampire Café for instance, we saw pictures of an awesome Pirate Café nearby that we will probably have to visit as well. All my money....

Talk you again soon!
